It’s that time again – time to send information on the 2010 Joseph and Mary Ann Birgen Family Reunion. It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since we last got together. This year brings a changing of the guard. The grandchildren of Joseph and Mary Ann Birgen will be heading up the planning of the reunion.
The reunion will be held July 2-5, 2010 at Prairie Village, west of Madison, South Dakota. For lodging, twenty campsites have been set aside at Prairie Village. Additionally, a block of rooms have been set aside at the AmericInn in Madison. When making reservations, please be sure to mention Birgen Family Reunion to get the discounted rate. Both contact numbers are listed at the bottom of this letter.
In light of the challenging economic times that everyone is facing, this year will not be requesting a fee to attend. However, free will donations are always welcome. Our goal is to allow as many people to attend as possible without placing additional burden on families.
We would like everyone to RSVP by May 1, 2010. In an effort to determine if there is interest in having breakfast provided on Sunday and Monday, we have added that as an option to select on the RSVP. (We will be serving pancakes.) There are a few ways that you can RSVP:
