I am married to Jerry Winker and live 11 miles NE of Howard, SD. I actually live about 6-7 miles north of Grandma and Grandpa Bickett's farm. I have three children, Christina - 10, Paul - 6 and Samantha - 3. I am a graduate of SDSU and I am in my 14th year of teaching music. I taught K-12 Vocal and Instrumental music in the very, very small community of Rutland, SD for 12 years and now I am in my 2nd year of teaching 7-12 Band & Vocal Music in Howard. My husband Jerry is an electrician and has a side business of stump-grinding. I enjoy the usual stuff - gardening, reading, cross-stitch, embroidery and trap-shooting.

My husband's grandmother and Grandma Bickett spent several church meeting together. Mary Ruth was a classmate of my father-in-law, Charles Winker and I believe Tom was in my mother-in-law's class, Patricia Wagner, small world!
